I bought the tripod as a gift for my wife. She got into the DSL cameras, I got her a D40, she really learned how to se it, took out books from the library, and really took awesome pictures. Well, the D90 came out and she mentioned how she wanted it. So i felt she didn't have a tripod yet, so why not get this for her. Well, when Christmas came, I found out she sold her D40 to a friend so she could save up for the D90.....so here I am giving her a tripod for no camera....ughhhh!
Well, 2 months later, I get her a D90, and now the tripod is being used, and it is FANTASTIC!!!!!

This tripod is impressive! For the money, it is a great bargain. It is easy to use, with extra features that make it a pleasure. It is lightweight, but sturdy and constructed solidly. They have included everything I wanted, and more. The bag is a good example. Not only is there a bag, but the bag is sturdy, of nice, thick duck, nicely screen printed with the Vista name and with an adjustable shoulder sling and a zipper! And that's only the bag! The tripod is even better. I am delighted in every way with this ingenious and high-quality piece of equipment.Customer Review: Lightweight / cheaply made / functional

Have not used it that much at all. And all indoors. But it's obvious that if you do much outdoor use at all with it, it will not stand up to much wear. If I had the decision to make all over again, I would have not taken advantage of the extra discount by buying this tripod along with other camera items and just waited and spent a bit more for a more rugged one. But I guess if you compare price to quality, then it fares okay. I just normally am willing to pay a bit extra to get something a LOT better and for whatever reason, this time I did not.Customer Review: Awesome Buy For a Newbie =)

I am a beginner at digital photography and just bought my first camera as well as accessories like this to improve my skills. After lots of research, I decided to buy this tripod and I am so glad I did. It is well made at an awesome price! I also love how compact and lightweight it is for travel. I saw that other customers said it didn't come with instructions, but mine did. Maybe they just started doing that, I don't know, but I didn't even need to look at them. It is very simple to figure out how to use.
I HIGHLY recommend this product!!!

this tri-pod was puchased for a point and shoot digital camera. i was unsure of choice after looking at all the choices at amazon. i paid $80 for my camera and didnt want to spend $100 or more for a quality tripod. this product had only 3 reviews when i made my choice. i am very pleased at the quality. it is stable even fully extended. in wind you will need to and some weight to it though. very light weight for travel. easy set-up and take-down. the bag that comes with it is light-weight and made of durable canvas not nylon. that is a bonus.
