Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Vista Explorer 60-Inch Lightweight Tripod with Tripod BagCustomer Review: Solid tripod for great price Summary: 5 Stars
I had a semi-pro photographer friend of mine use this tripod when they videotaped my wedding and since then I have used it on a few occassions. It is very easy to use, and very light. Most of the black parts are plactic or rubber and the grey parts are a very light aluminum. The plastic parts seem solid and the moving parts are all smooth and sturdy. I think it is a great buy for someone who needs a basic steady tripod. The bag also comes in handy. I don't have another tripod to compare it to, but I am sure there are more durable tripods out there, but for the money I was impressed with this tripod and I believe it will be around for many years of occasional use.
Customer Review: User friendly Summary: 5 Stars
Not that a tripod would necessarily be difficult to get working properly, I've heard of other tripods being a lot more difficult. This was easy to use right out of the box, has a bag which is handy, and feels pretty sturdy.
Haven't really gotten to officially test it outside yet, but I played around with it in my living room and it worked well. Nice and level.
The bag that comes with it is sturdy too! I really like that and it doesn't seem like it will be all that uncomfortable. Overall, it is more compact than I thought it would be, which is good. Much lighter too, which is even better. Great buy, great price. Recommend!
Customer Review: GREAT tripod for the price Summary: 5 Stars
Purchased this tripod a couple of weeks ago, and I'm really thrilled. They don't mention the quick release plate in the product description, which should certainly be added. Works well
if you're looking for a top of the line manfrotto, then you need to buy a top of the line manfrotto. You won't find that kind of quality here. But if you're looking for a tripod that's relatively light, CHEAP, and will support the weight of your setup, this is it.
Comes with a bag, but i can't imagine ever actually using it. it's a cheap tripod, not sure what it needs protecting from.
Customer Review: Excellent Value Summary: 5 Stars
This is an excellent tripod for my use. It seems to be sturdy and versatile enough to serve quite a few situations beyond mine as well. It is well-balanced, has all of the features I can imagine for my needs, and every adjustment for rotation and connection is quite secure without the wobbly feel that some exhibit. One principle reason I purchased this tripod was the fact that it extends to a good height to facilitate viewing through the finder. It also collapses into a nice size and fits well into the supplied carrying bag. All in all, the quality of the unit for the fair price make it a very good value.
Customer Review: Great tripod Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great tripod. It works great for my JVC digital video camera and my Canon digital camera. It is very sturdy and solid. It looks very nice too. This thing is built to last. When you make adjustments, make sure that you loosen the right knobs, otherwise it won't pan easy. With the adjustment done correct, this tripod pans smoothly. I like the fact that it has a very high set-up height. I am very happy with this and I reccomend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend hundres on a tripod. This has great Bang for the buck. It has a carrying case and a hook on the tripod so you can store it easily.
