I picked this up about a month and a half ago on a good sale here on Amazon.
There weren't any good pictures of it here at the time (I will be uploading some) and it was really hard to find info on these specific tripod legs online.
I'm very glad I got it. This is the first time I spent anywhere near this amount on a tripod (especially without a head), but I can see why it's worth spending a good amount on your tripod setup - these aren't even very costly at all if you start looking at the high end ones.
The joints at the top are very solid feeling metal and the movement is dampened so they legs don't open out on their own too easily. The carbon fiber makes them light yet sturdy. They have the "leg warmers" that make it nicer to carry as the grips are soft and they don't get cold outside. You can detach the lower part of the center column and flatten out the legs to get the camera close to the ground. You can also reverse the column to hang your camera upside-down if you needed. The center column has a hook on it, so you can attach something to it to further stabilize the tripod.
The legs do not have spikes on them. Not a big deal for me at this time, but thought I would throw that out there for those that need it.
A carrying bag is also included. It's slightly padded and has 2 straps so you can easily wear it on your back almost like a backpack. It also has a Velcro strap attachment to join the straps so you can use them as one. The bag fit the tripod legs with a ball head attached just fine, with a little room to spare even.
I use this with a Vanguard ball head Vanguard SBH-30 Lightweight Magnesium Alloy Ball Head and they go together perfectly.
