Customer Review: Works as Advertised But How About a New Design?

Da-Lite wrote the book on these screens and this one is no exception. It's relatively lightweight, easy to transport, and you really can't beat the price. Images are very crisp and the size works great for a small to medium sized audience. I went with this model only after there really wasn't anything else in its price range that was easier to set up.
My only complaint is that this product's design has been around for as long as I can remember.. Isn't it about time for something new and a little easier and lighter? Pulling this, putting the metal peg in that... there's got to be a better way!
Here's a wish to Da-lite to put some money into R&D and come up with a product that doesn't remind me of setting up my 1970's era home movie projector :).

I ordered this screen for a presentation at a clients office projecting a PowerPoint presentation from my Panasonic PT-LB60U projector. First, Amazon quoted a delivery time of 5-9 business days and I received it in four business days. Love ordering from Amazon! It was easy and quick to set up, about two minutes, with no problems and easy to take down and carry back to the car. The screen was large enough for everyone in a 25 seat conference room to see perfectly, bright and clear even in medium ambient light. Frankly,I don't know what the other higher priced screens of the same size and design offer that would make a huge difference for the price jump, but I highly recommend this for a professional appearance at a great price. What a nice screen for such a good price. When projecting images, even to a larger group, everyone was able to see a crisp image against the white screen. Set up was actually pretty easy as long as I used a chair to extend the stand to its highest position. You do have to be careful, however, not to push the red tab to the point of breaking but as long as you simultaneously pull the extension rod, this is not an issue. Not the lightest to transport but then again this is a screen attached to a metal tripod so should be expected.Customer Review: Great Screen!

My husband and I do a great deal of public speaking through our involvement with Business Network International and the Referral Institute. We purchased this screen because we wanted something versatile, lightweight and easy to set up to take to our venues. It did not disappoint! This screen has met all of our expectations for portability and ease of use. we got this screen to use with a projector to watch dvds and the screen is much taller that it is wide so we never get to use the whole screen. It would be great if there was a way to turn it but there is not so we end up putting the projector in front of us to fill out the sides. A nice idea but a wider screen would be better
