This item arrived very quickly after my order. The main reason I ordered it was because I needed a wireless adapter that would work with Linux, and I was not disappointed. I am using openSUSE 11.2, and the adapter was recognized immediately with no additional software. The included antenna seems to provide a much stronger signal than I had in the past with USB dongle type adapters.Customer Review: Maybe you people should get better rigs....

I bought the product, and it worked great. With Windows XP Professional, I didn't even have to put in the install disc for the drivers.
The only problem I have is the lack of X64 drivers, and low signal. But since it's an Atheros chip, finding X64 drivers for it from other cards. And the signal strength can be saved by replacing the attenea with a cheap 6 dBi one.

I have several Linksys wireless adapters, usb, pci, etc that I could never configure with a Linksys wireless cable modem/router. This one worked fine. Go figure. I had to reinstall once when it stopped working by (1) removing software, (2) removing the card, (3) reinstalling software, (4) reinstalling the card. Bought this to work with a new D-Link DI-524 wireless router. Works great, with the signal cutting diagonally and through the floor of my 2-story suburban house. I am using an old 6db directional patch antenna (from Hawking Technology; I bought it years ago) and the connection is flawless. Tested in both Windows XP SP2 & Ubuntu Linux (Breezy 5.10 & kernel 2.6).Customer Review: Great Connection...Difficult Setup

Overall, I have a great connection that has not failed in the 4 months I've owned it. The only drawback I had with this is that the install instructions were insufficient and I had to wind up calling customer service. Although I thought this was a pain, they got it to work properly and I have not been dissappinted. I highly recommend getting this product.
