Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of D-Link DBT-120 Wireless Bluetooth USB AdapterCustomer Review: Read before you buy this! Summary: 1 Stars
This D-Link blue tooth adapter just arrived and after I tried to install it, an error dialog came up informing me there isn't a compatible driver for Windows 7 64-bit operating system.
After a call to D-Link, who has a call office in some foreign country, and struggling to understand the tech person's thick foreign accent, I was told to return it to Amazon for a refund.
I suppose, "thank goodness" for Amazon's easy return policy. I clicked on the return button, printed out the UPS label and tomorrow it's off to the UPS return place. I only wish someone would include a list of compatible operating systems on the website or that D-Link would bring their equipment up to modern standards. "Hey D-Link it's almost 2011 not 2000! :-(

Customer Review: This made my Magic Mouse work perfectly Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this bluetooth adapter because my old D-Link bluetooth adapter wasn't compatible with the new Apple Magic Mouse. I have an older G4 pro Mac tower and wanted to use the new Magic Mouse. After a lot of frustration trying to get the OLD adapter to work I performed some research on the internet and found this model. It worked flawlessly. My Magic Mouse now functions perfectly well with my G4 Mirror Drive Door tower running 10.5.8. I have the adapter plugged into the port on my Cinema Display. Yes, even with all this old equipment (these Macs just keep on working and working well!) this adapter lets me use this fantastic Magic Mouse. I don't use many other bluetooth devices, but I know this also works with an older bluetooth Mighty Mouse.
Customer Review: Worked with Win2000, but not XP Summary: 1 Stars
I've used the DB-120 for about 1 yr with my win2000 laptop. I set it up in about 10 minutes and had it working with my phone almost immediately. Easy. Recently, I moved off of that laptop and migrated everything to a brand new Win XP desktop. After working several hrs this afternoon with the drivers from the Duh-Link site, I've given up trying to get it to work. It is very frustrating, because I've been using it for so long and I know I can follow the instructions. It is going on ebay and I'm replacing it with something that's ready to be used in XP. My advice, if you want to try this with XP, it may work or it may not...just know that you are gambling. Save yourself the trouble and go get something else that is more stable.
Customer Review: After a few updates, works perfectly Summary: 5 Stars
I had to go to the D-link website and download the new drivers because they have had problems with WinXP trying to use it's own drivers and there is a problem with the MAC address certification. so that would explain why a lot of people have been having problems getting this to work.
But after I installed the new D-link drivers I have had perfect preformance ever since. it communicates with my Motorola RAZR V3 perfectly, I can transfer pics, audio, video, and internet connection with no problems. the range is also impressive. and the interface is pretty easy to use. I have always been a fan of D-link. their Tech-support has a lot to be desired, but when you get the product to work I have never had problems afterwards.
Customer Review: VERY limited use Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this product, based on it being advertised as compatible with a MAC. What I did not know, and what is buried in the technical specifications [if you are lucky] is that it has only two, very limited "link protocols" - ACL and SCO. Therefore it is really only designed for linking phones, etc. It can not link headsets and other audio. If you need to link ONLY your cell phone, or if you establish everything you want to link is ACL or SCO protocols only, it may be worth it. If you want anything else, don't buy it. My experience with DLINK technical help was basically - they are clueless.
If you look at the similar IOGear device [you have to go their web site], it links using at least 6 protocols.
