I've got this product in the early Dec. '07 and it is the best wireless device I've ever tried. Extremely good speed and impressive range. But be careful - If you want to use it as a router - you are out of luck. This is a MediaBridge and acts as Access Point only!. Initially I tried to connect it straight to my DSL modem/router and to connect couple of wired desktop PC's as well as a wireless laptop. But since my DSL router is giving me only 1 IP address the first connected computer was OK, everything else was with no connection at all. So I had to put another router (cheap wired one) between the DSL modem/router and the DAP-1555 to assure that all my pc's will receive proper IP's and connect to the network.
