Purchased this in mid 2009, have had a dozen power outages since buying this. Each time the power switches on quickly and effectively. Longest power outage so far has been only 20 minutes but the machine had plenty left to go. Does a perfect job leveling out current (no spikes or undervolts), and doesn't get hot or emit foul odors. Has been perfect for our needs and we look for it to run at least another 5 years.
