Customer Review: VERY amazing quality

I really like the CyberPower High-Speed 7-Port USB Hub. I bought it to use on my PlayStation 3. I don't see me ever using all 7 ports for it, however. It is very great quality. Before I bought it, I was worried that since it stands up, that it would have the tendency of tipping over since I'll be pulling cords with my remote or with my headset, but it surprisingly stands up very great. It has a large base and when I try to push it over it just stands right back up. You would literally have to pick it up and lay it flat to have it fall over. It is very sturdy and works great on my PS3. The blue light stays on, however. If you have your PlayStation hooked up in your room, the blue light could bother you if you sleep. But I give this product a 5 star rating. Microphone works, controller works through USB, and tomorrow I plan to test the PlayStation EYE. I recommend this over any other USB Hub out there.Customer Review: Mac user, works great!

I use this on my MacBook so I can connect several items at the same time including a USB keyboard and optical mouse, my iPad and iPhone, a webcam, an external hard drive and even a light o Rama controller for my Christmas lights. This thing works great and provides plenty of power for all devices. I haven't seen any slowness in my webcam, iPad/iPhone syncing or even copying large movies to my external hard drive. This guy works great and I am not at all disappointed in performance. I am however a bit disappointed in the design. This has to sit on the corner of my desk and i need plenty of room on both sides to allow the USB cables to plug in. I would have had them design it like a tower with the plugs all on the back one on top of another. That being said, the current design does offer some added stability to keep the hub from falling over. Overall a great performer and a decent design.Customer Review: Bought a second one

1. The USB ports on the sides are spaced far enough apart that I can use all the slots. And the one in front is great for the thumb drive.

4. It stands up most of the time! when I came into the office this morning it was on it's side but no biggie. I righted it and it was fine all day.The weighted base does make a difference and I think they made it as heavy as they could without taking away the portability feature.
5. Did I mention it works great. My laptop had no problem going to sleep. It was instantly recognized. All the devices I've put on it have been recognized
6. I don't know what one reviewer meant by it making noise. Mine is absolutely silent.
7. I agree you need a scissors or knife to open the clamshell packaging no biggie.
I liked it so much I bought a second one!!
Customer Review: Beware --incuded power adapter is NOT 220-240V compatible

Bought this hub for primarily overseas use. Typically what I find overseas is junk, and like other reviewers, I have tried just about everything out there and ended up returning them one and all.
Several of the reviews said an overseas capable power adapter (100-240V) came with the unit. That is evidently no longer the case as the unit I received (June 2010) arrived with an adapter rated at 100-120V (input) and 5V 3.6A (output). Apparently Cyberpower no longer supplies higher voltage capable power adapters with this unit. To get full simultaneous use from all the ports from a 220-240V source, you would either need to get an appropriate universal power adapter which can operate from 220-240 or a step-down transformer.
From their website, Cyberpower does not appear to offer a model of this hub with a 100-240V adapter.

Needing more USB terminals, I bought this product based on a number of positive reviews, both here and at other sites. It works so well and unobtrusively that it goes unrecognized for the great job that it does. I have a number of USB terminated devices: Scanner, printer, several digital cameras, wireless mouse, and several personal audio devices. All work with this hub with the exception of the scanner. Before I bought this device, I was aware that the scanner might not work with any hub, so this was neither a great surprise nor a disappointment. Although the hub is self-powered, I have not needed the power for any of the devices I have connected to it; however, it is nice to know that the power is available if needed for a future device. I also appreciate the lifetime warranty. If you need a USB hub, this is certainly one to consider.
