Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of CyberPower High-Speed 7-Port USB HubCustomer Review: Failed after one year of usage Summary: 3 Stars
Good looking USB hub with "too bright" but colorful LEDs but even at that it did not light up properly. Single Blue LED always on to indicate "power on" since it uses external power adapter. However all yellow LEDs were constantly lit even if the port was unused which I think contributed to the short life of this device. Yellow LEDs supposed to light up only when the port is "in use" but in my case and from other reviews this was not the case. I noticed my transfer speed to various peripherals were slowing down to painful crawl then after process of elimination I noted this hub was breaking down. So I ordered on Amazon another hub from a different vendor which hopefully will work better and longer.
Customer Review: Excellent hub, does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it well Summary: 5 Stars
I looked at quite a few hubs before purchasing this one. I'm happy to have a quality hub that's powered. I use this primarily to extend all of my devices, as my workstation is a bit far away from my desk. It sits in my IKEA Galant desk cable manager, but is awesome. It powers my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard, Razer Imperator Mouse, Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 receiver, and Nexus One phone without any issue at all. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but that's only an advantage in my mind. The base detaches, allowing the device to lay down flat on its back. The lights are nice and bright, if you're into gaming rigs and flashy lights, this hub is for you.
Customer Review: Valuable addition Summary: 5 Stars
Extra USB ports are always useful and this one provides a set of seven USB ports. There are three ports on each side of the device and one on the front directly below its indicator lights. These ports accommodate normal USB connectors however; the extra wide connectors will reduce the number of devices used at once, but it's still an excellent choice. I have not found any fault with my USB hub at this point and it used extensively on my system. This device would be a welcome and reasonably priced addition to anyone's system.

Customer Review: Going to buy a 2nd Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this USB hub in November of 2009.
When it comes to electronics and certain other things, I like to use them for a while before I review them.
I will tell you this.
I am going to be buying another one of these USB hubs. I love it.
It was plug and play right out of the box.
I keep mine powered up with the included plug because I use it to charge up my Iphone 3GS.
I have plugged all kinds of usb gadgets into it and a dozen different USB flash memories and all kinds of card readers including a sdhc card reader. They all work perfectly.
I love the extra long power cord and usb connection for the computer.
Customer Review: My unit was unreliable Summary: 1 Stars
I liked this unit when I set it up. It had a small footprint, was heavy enough to be solid on the desk, and had a funky kind of look to it. I had to return it, though. It wasn't reliable. My devices weren't registering on my PC. I plugged them into another hub and they worked fine, but they didn't work on this hub. I should say they initially worked, then didn't. One at a time, each device I plugged into it worked, then didn't. I tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in, but nothing. I bought a cables to go model at the same time and that was solid (but $10 more). I returned this unit and ordered another CTG unit.
