I just took delivery of this, charged it the 18 hours before using it and this afternoon plugged everything in.
My load indicator doesn't show any load on the system while on. I have 2 24inch dell monitors, 1 dell laptop, Sans Digital Nas, Maxtor USB drive, and a bunch of little things hung off it. Cannot get it to show a load.
With the battery 100% charged I unplugged it from the wall. Everything stays on and the software alters me to the power change. Battery instantly goes from 100% to 38% and from 40ish minutes to 16minutes. After a few minutes the battery gets down to 22%. I cannot see it lasting even the 10 minutes.
I have no intentions of actually trying to drain the battery but I'm a little disappointed. I suspect this battery wont be very good, such a fast drop suggests it's damaged and wont hold much of a charge as it ages.
The network protection is limited to 10/100 speeds so I couldn't use it for the GBit network we have.
Oh well, for the price it'll prevent the computer issues I've been having from midnight power outages and spikes.

I have sleep apnea, and need to use a CPAP device (a ResMed M Series with a humidifier) to breathe when I sleep. Unfortunately, major construction is taking place near where I live, and they are regularly turning off the electricity very early in the morning, which makes for a smothery awakening.
I didn't want to spend $400 on a battery pack, and the outages are about an hour each, so a UPS seemed like the perfect solution.
This UPS was easy to set up, and includes drivers (Windows, Mac and Linux) to allow you to turn off, via a computer interface, the sound that goes off to tell you the UPS has taken over during a power outage.
We plugged my CPAP into the wrong plug the first night (it needed to go into the larger column of plugs), so I ended up waking up, but I figured it out very quickly and was able to get right back to sleep. No problems at all the second night - the UPS lasted at least an hour.
The device is small and easy to tuck away. And quite heavy for its size! Not sure what the previous reviewer was talking about when he said it was light - he must be a weightlifter.

Needed to replace my APC UPS due to the battery no longer being able to handle the load where during power drop the UPS would fail and the units attached would shut down. I was looking at APC again but came across Cyberpower and they seemed like nice product for the price. I've had this unit for over a week and so far I'm pleased. I really like the display read out that shows vital information such as backup time, electrical currents, and load. The unit comes with 9 outlets but only 5 are for the UPS backup with the other 4 just for surge protection. I have a number of devices with the larger plug adaptors and that caused issues with fitting all into the outlets on the UPS. I had to go out and purchase plug in extension cords that allowed me to fit all of those into the outlets and then plug my larger device plug in adaptors into those. The adaptors work great but are an extra cost that anyone needs to consider when buying this unit as well as other UPS products.
If you are looking for a UPS, check out this UPS as it provides nice features, good backup time, all for a reasonable price.

My monitor eventually began making a very loud humming sound after installing the Cyberpower VA1000. Got creeped out after another Cyberpower 850VA, after being installed, I had a printer failure. My brand-new printer had to be replaced.
I don't really know if the UPS is to be blamed on these two incidents, but that is the only thing I had connected up to my setup. Nothing else was changed. I had no problems before.
My "stuff" is all brand-new! Both of these UPS are made in China. So what, lot of stuff is made in China. It's been my experience many times that, they (stuff made in China) have to be replaced several times before you get something that works.
So, maybe I got lemons. Very expensive lemons. But, I can't take a chance on expensive lemons anymore.
Also, ask them to replace the component (monitor, computer, printer, etc.) via their replacement liability policy. Be prepared to get hilarious. You might want to watch a few Don Rickles video to prepare yourself. As they say, you have been WARNED!

I purchased the CP1000 as a backup for our TV/DVR. We have a lot of momentary power glitches in our area and every time we do, the DVR gets knocked off line and has to reprogram itself. Shortly after installing this unit an electrical storm rolled through blinking the lights, knocking out digital clocks and shutting down our computers. The TV/DVR just kept right on truckin'. We watched totally uninterrupted TV.
In addition, he unit has automatic voltage regulation and surge protection. Clean power is essential for good TV health and this unit provides it.
The CP1000 is small in stature having a very small footprint but it packs a real wallop. Very impressive
Also, their customer service is excellent. I sent two emails before purchasing to ask questions about the unit and had responses the very next day. Can't ask for better service than that.
I was so impressed with the total experience that I am purchasing two more to back up each of our computers.
