Customer Review: Great design, Great Sound, (and recommended monitor)

I really like these speakers. If you are looking for a TWO-speaker set-up and a very good quality speaker at a reasonable price consider these. I can't believe what you get for the price with these... less then 21 bucks delivered to my door within 3 working days.
They are alao a "perfect" match, down to the plastic/tone, soft blue led light and modern look, to my viewsonic LED monitor: ViewSonic VX2250WM-LED 22-Inch (21.5-Inch Vis) Widescreen Full HD 1080p LED Monitor with Integrated Stereo Speakers
I am not an audiophile and have semi-destructive young children, so was not looking for high-end speakers. I wanted a decent sounding, nice-looking two-speaker set-up to reduce clutter; plus, I wanted to match my monitor. These speakers reproduce a great range of sound at as high a volume as I can tolerate (and I haven't cranked them up nearly to the maximum). I haven't looked at them through a jeweler's loupe but they certainly seem to be well assembled and sturdy. Some reviews mentioned the volume knob might be slippery (not textured along the edges). I actally like the knob as is... very classy. And my sweaty finger-tips have had no issues turning it. I did notice that the volume, when plugging in my head-phones, had to be turned up considerably but sounded great through my head-phones when I dialed it up a bit... I also recommend my head-phones... cheap set up Sony MDR-V150's Sony MDR-V150 Monitor Series Headphones with Reversible Earcups
I have not tested the aux-in plug yet... I should soon but will only update should I have unexpected bad news :)
