Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Crosley Kettle Classic Desk Phone CR62-BlackCustomer Review: Aesthetically pleasing and bargain priced. Summary: 5 Stars
The 'kettle classic' desk phone brings back the idea that an everyday object can work well and also be pleasing to the eye, unlike many of today's styleless and charmless utility objects. Simple to set up, simple to use, it works very well and sounds better to the person called than does a genuine antique telephone.
Customer Review: Looks nice but IMHO, Poor Quality Summary: 2 Stars
I was disappointed with this phone when I received it. Yes, it is vintage looking but that is about it. If you get within 5 feet of it you can tell this is no vintage phone. Cheap plastic, weighs practically nothing. The hand receiver has no meat to it. Not worth the 50 bucks, sending it back.
Customer Review: Major Disappointment Summary: 1 Stars
We sent the phone back the same day we received it. It looked beautiful, but unfortunately, we wanted it to funtion as well. YOu could anwser and talk on the phone , but he ringer did not work at all. We tried all the steps that the directions gave but to no avail.
To bad.
Customer Review: Decent phone, feels a little cheap Summary: 3 Stars
The look of the phone is great and what I wanted, but the construction feels a little cheap and it has a wobble when sitting on the desk. The receiver is fairly large and because of the almost V shaped handle it is almost impossible to cradle for more than a few minutes.
Customer Review: Classic Telephone Summary: 2 Stars
This classic telephone looks great in the hallway of my old farmhouse. Unfortunately, the push button dial tones have never worked properly. Since I bought it mostly for looks and it does receive calls, I haven't tried to return it.
