Pros: The phone looks great with antique furniture, and the sound quality is fantastic. Cons: The receiver isn't designed so it can rest on your shoulder -- you have to hold it. The body doesn't have an indentation in the back (below the cradle) so you can easily pick it up. And the ringer is really loud (authentic, but startling). Overall, we like the phone but a few minor design changes would make it perfect.Customer Review: Solid, good looking phone.

I bought this phone for my 1923 California bungalow, to put in the phone nook in the hall. Fits the bill perfectly. The dimensions are good (another reproduction was too deep) and it even sounds like a period phone. My only minor complaint is that the item photo shows an old fashioned straight cord from the receiver to the base, and mine came with the more modern curly cord.Customer Review: Mermory Lane

Bought this phone as a birthday gift for my husband. He absolutely loves it. It feels and looks just like the real thing from the 40's. The tone is crystal clear (he's hard of hearing) and it is very easy to operate. Push down and get redial, push up for flash.
Modern coveniences in a nostalgic phone. Love it! Love it! Love it!

This phone is smart looking and goes well with my decor but it doesn't ring and I'm going to have to send it back after I call to get my shipping label to return it, repack it and wait for return... its such a hassle. I would like to recommend this phone to a friend but I'm afraid it may not "ring". This is a pretty important feature.Customer Review: Very Happy With This Phone

I have had this phone for a few months now, and held off writing a review until now, because a different model of classic phone I bought first, quit working after a couple of days. NOT the case here - this CR62 Kettle phone has been working great! Nice mechanical bell ringer and heavy construction. Quite authentic looking.
