After buying an ipod and having it lock up on me several times within a week of recieving it, I decided to buy a Creative MP3 player because my friend had one and loved it.
I like that it takes very little time to charge the battery. Prior to this and the ipod, I had a Sony MP3 player for a little under a year, but I hated the program you had to use with it. With this player, you can use several programs, and but music from pretty much anywhere and play it.
Lastly, and this is perhaps one of my favorite things about it, you can make playlists in the player, you don't need to make one in your computer, then transfer it, although you can do that as well.
I've had this player probably a month or six weeks, and haven't had problems with it. I would definatly recommend it.

just purchased the Vision M, and I am loving it!! I had issues at first with it not charging, but a firmware upgrade from creative's website took care of that. I love the feel of it, sure its a little heavier than an ipod, but at least it doesn't feel like it may break in half if dropped. i also love the touchpad, a little tricky to get used to to, but after turning down it sensitivity a notch i found it much easier to maneuver than the click wheel of an ipod. Sound and visual quality are excellent, easy to load files and supports so many more extentions than the ipod or zune. well worth the money! staples.com does an excellent comparision of the vision:m, ipod and zune, so if you are debating on which one to buy you can see them side by side, very helpful. loving the vision m!!Customer Review: 5 stars if it would ship already!

I previously bought a creative zen micro from amazon and i absolutley love it. I cant get enough of it. I listen to it every possible minute i can. Ive had this for about a year and a half, and i saw that creative came out with the vision m. I did hours of research on it. I compared it to the IPod video, and decided that the vision m was the mp3 video player for me. My dad has an IPod video and he loves it, but recently the hard drive crashed on him. I ordered the vision m in white because the black really shows finger prints and scratches. I ordered this product on March 28 and today is April 28. Amazon still hasnt shipped this product, and I payed extra for express shipping. I am getting extremely impatient, but from what i hear "good things are worth waiting for"Customer Review: Works with Linux just fine

This product works fine with Gnomad2 and even with Amorak though to a lesser extent, which may be because of my own inexperience with Amorak. Gnomad2 seems to copy files and music over without any trouble. I wasn't sure if the Zen would be a good purchase because I don't use windows machines in my house but it's been great. The battery life exceeds what the specs show, I've watched 3-4 movies at a time on the zen with 100% screen brightness.
It was a toss-up between this, the Zune and the iPod. I went with Creative because I have never had a problem with their other products and I try to not support Microsoft where possible so no Zune. Apple's iPod is ok but the screen on the Zen is much better and this was $199 at Walmart on sale.

The Creative Zen Vision M is just what I was looking for in a mp3 player. The quality of sound is great, and the image quality for picture and video is superb...better than iPod's. The navigation buttons I was skeptical about, but they actually turned out to be a good thing...it is much more easy to navigate than iPod and the vertical navigation button is a plus. The only thing that I don't like is that it takes a while to charge, and I have found it a little difficult to sync music from my previous mp3, but music off of cd's and the internet are very easy to transfer. I did a lot of research before buying, and this was the best deal and the best features...the Creative Zen Vision M is by far the best deal and the most functional...I would highly recommend it!
