I am so madly in love with this product! Just USB it into the computer and drag-n-drop what I want on it. I did not install accompanying software as Windows Vista recognized it right away! I mainly use it for songs only. The touch pad is very sensitive and takes a bit to get used to. Very easy to navigate! Had no freeze ups as stated in other reviews. It does however, get fingerprints easily...Problem solved by buying a cover! Earphones are fine but purchased in-ear phone for the hell of it! Purchased white because I wanted the entire player to be the same color. I love the features of the Zen:M. I have owned 3, but this will be my last. The first one I bought had to be returned twice for problems with the headphone connector.
Recently the 30 GB version I own lost it's FM ability. So when I call they inform me the only service they offer for those of us who are out of warranty is to replace the unit ($249!).
So my issue is that I have owned 4 Creative devices, all but one eventually failed (within 2 years). I can only guess that Creative has also seen the failure rate and has decided to bailed on supporting a faulty product.

The absolute best mp3 player I have ever purchased. Best picture clarity over 200k colors, best sound 192 kbps and beyond, microphone picks up my professors lectures easily and clearly, coverflow before ipod 6, 10 megapixel pics look like 10 megapixel pics on the zen, and finally battery life is awesome 20 hours audio 5 video. It's a little old now, but nothing new has been made that completely out shines it, if you can find this cheap don't double guess because its a little dated, buy it.Customer Review: shipping taking forever?

I know a lot of you are annoyed with Amazon for not shipping the ZEN Vision:M out ASAP. Trust me, I'm annoyed too. However, I ordered mine from Academic Superstore in mid-March. I don't have mine either and it's not Amazon or Academic Superstore's fault. You can't even get them on the Creative website. It's gone....everywhere. The manufacturer keeps pushing back the shipping dates. So settle down, I know it's taking forever (I feel your pain) but they are coming....slowly but surely.Customer Review: Good but not great

This player just needs a few tweaks to make it great. You've heard about the dongle, which is a little inconvenient. I'm also not crazy about the touch pad, which often mistakes an attempt to scroll for a tap - even with the sensitivity turned down. The ear buds don't stay in my ears either. Fix those things and add the ability to automatically record radio a la Tivo (this should be trivial) and you have near perfection. Icing on the cake would be AM radio for sports broadcasts.
