I've had this player for about a year and it has been working great until last week. It crashed and now is telling me there is a "firmware problem". I tried everything including reformating, reloading firmare, reinstalling drivers and all that and have found no solution. Then I searched online for some tips and turns out this is pretty common. Just search "zen micro" and "firmware problem" and you'll see.Customer Review: Mom's with Teens!

Really, really good quality. Very sturdy. Easy to use! My 3 teenage sons are very active! This Zen takes a lickin' and keeps on... It holds a load of songs and pictures. Costs much less than most MP3's. Two of my sons had thier IPODS stollen! I could have purchased 5 1/2 of these instead... I gave one of them my Zen and they are happy with it. Overall a good product. I had some hard disk errors at one point where I had to take the battery out to get it to turn off. It kept saying "rebuilding library" and then freeze part of the way through- but it seemed fix itself. The touch pad works well. The packaged software it a little weak, but does have some good points to it. For the money it's a good MP3 player.Customer Review: Not too shabby.

I was very pleased when I received my Creative mp3 player and tried it out. It has a lot of good features and holds a nice amount of music for the price. I would say it is definitely a better buy than an iPod. The only thing I do not like is I cannot figure out how to look through pictures and listen to music at the same time. It was brought for my granddaughter. She stated that having the radio, the ability to put photos, having the outside light, great sound, being small, light weight and the ability to put her own screen savor is all a big plus and she couldn't be happier. She thinks it's better than my Ipod due to her being able to get a radio station. She'd 16 years old.
