The product though cheap is one of those where you get what you pay for. The video quality is not great by anyones imagination. In terms of staying on a flatscreen moniter or laptop it works only as long as the device is very still(aka, no laptop on the lap), Also very hard to adjust becuase once you start moving it, it will fall off or slip. The free headset works fine, and it is plug and play with AIM messenger. So that was very easy, and it does do the job. HOWEVER SOFTWARE DOES NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS VISTA....I was dissapointed this was not stated cleary.Customer Review: Eh

Even though it is cheap, the product seems to be cheaper. I couldn't get majority of the features it came with to even work. The camera works when it decides its ready. I wasn't sure if I should buy this camera and I looked at all the reviews I could find to try and help me. And I'd have to say its definitely not worth the buy, I would prefer to have spent more money and gotten a different hopefully better product. If your really strapped for cash I'd say sure ok buy it. But if your not go ahead and spend the extra cash for something that will last.Customer Review: Not the best

I bought this webcam and well i liked it but only on the daylight with my windows opened all the way sometimes i had my light on and you werent able to see clearly picture quality isnt the best and if you have a regular monitor not a flat one it will keep on falling down from the top also the two claws from the front fell off. it is real sensitive and not worth it i would recommend it to a kid probably. There are much better available, avoid this "Creative Webcam" unless you are getting it cheap and are only installing it on an XP PC. It does not work on Vista.
It did install fairly quickly on my XP PCs (we have 3 of these webcams) and performs well enough for video chatting. The picture quality is just OK, nothing special. The included software is also OK and does what you expect it to do.
Not recommended.

I purchased two of these webcams because my best friend moved to New Zealand and I was still living in Illinois. It has come in very handy and was cheap. For the price it is actually a very good webcam. If you want perfect clairity and flawless pictures I wouldn't suggest this camera, but for general use like in the home just talking to a friend it is very nice.
