The purpose of this kind of camera is ease of use. It's smaller than my iPhone, which means I can keep it in my pocket. I've had it less than a week and I'm using it constantly. I've gotten more video of my wife and son this week, than I have for the last two years combined. The video isn't HD quality, but it's not supposed to be. It's a great blogging and vlogging camera. 4 stars from me. Charges fast and the zoom actually works.
Oh yeah, it's super cheap. I got it with super fast shipping for just about $100. Money well spent.

This is a great pocket video camcorder! I toss it in my purse and use it constantly. Where ever I go I find myself pulling out my little video camera. It's amazing how much there is to record when you have your camcorder with you! It comes with a subscription to shutterfly which allows you to upload videos, make pictures, etc.. Great fun. I've even done a you tube on my kids! The quality of picture is very good and because it is so small, most people don't even realize that you are recording them and the shots are great!Customer Review: Good Product and Good Price

I bought this as a birthday present for my 11 years old son. He loves it very much and always carries it around. Under this price, of course, you can't expect it would have a lot of functions similar as the big brand. However, there are two things I don't really like as they don't allow to add external memory card which won't allow to have longer hour of recording; and also the manufacture doesn't provide any external adaptor or allow to use other battery which the user just only can recharge it in front of the computer.Customer Review: Good First Try

The first edition of the Creative Labs Vado Pocket Video Camcorder is a fun and handy toy, however it has a few flaws built in. When I excitedly ordered it, I did not know that the software is incompatible with my Mac. I would like to know when they will fix this obvious exclusion. Also, the Vado display shows a vivid playback but looks grainy when blown-up on the computer, even using the highest resolution.
That said, it is a great idea, very portable and handy, and easy to operate for recording and playback.

Not as good as some users here are making it out to be. I got it for $59.99 and I still found myself getting ripped off. The video quality did not meet my expectations even so in HQ, the colors for one are very pale, and there is really no way to play with the contrast or brightness (which is sad), as well as when the camera gets moved, a lot of pixels keep appearing which completely ruins the viewing experience when video is watched.
Disappointed. I should consider paying more for the HD Vado.
