Customer Review: Good overall, one major irritation...

I bought this case for my 8GB Zen. It is a good fit and the player is well protected whilst controls can still be accessed with relative ease.
My gripe? The case pushes right up to the screen leaving a "dark spot" in the middle of the viewing area. It is kinda hard to explain - it looks like a drop of moisture between the player and the case. I took it apart repeatedly, cleaned with a dry cloth and reassembled. The only result is that the spot moved around a bit. This all left me puzzled and disappointed with this purchase...

The plastic case does protect your player and I am glad that I have it. It is sometimes tricky to completely close the case and I have to play with it to get it to close tight. I took the ring off because I found I don't really need it. I tried the ring a few times, but it just seems easier to slide the player into a pocket. I've saved the ring in case I ever find I want to put it back on.
It did seem like the best case I could find and it does do the job and I would recommend buying the case if you are buying a Creative Zen.

I've read a lot of reviews indicating wet spots in the air space between the screen and the case. Mine has a little one, which is ~1/16 in., but it's an easy fix by taking the case off and cleaning the inside. I removed the key ring since it remains inside my pocket at the gym. This case is a little too thick, which impedes easy access to the sliding on/off button. A couple of small complaints, but don't get me wrong this is great case that is well made. I would recommend ordering one, great protection plus it's fairly cheap!Customer Review: Good idea badly implemented

Offers great all-around protection for your Zen, but at the cost of not having easy access to your ports (you have to remove the Zen from the case to use the USB port, etc). Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, the case fits so tightly that it will push against the screen in areas, creating "hot spots" on the screen. And last but not least, it scratches very easily. After a few days of use it was scratched to the point that I stopped using it and just bought a good plastic screen protector instead.Customer Review: Not worth the money

It does protect the screen which is the most important feature a case can have, but this case comes up short overall for my needs.
It scratches very easily, feels like it could break every time you try and unsnap or re-snap the case , and I have the oil-spot residue after just one day of use.
If you have sweaty palms or large fingers I would steer clear of this case.
I will probably order the leather case and I have a skin ordered from [...] as well
