Customer Review: Excellent Case

Lets face it, the Zen Player, despite the wonderful features, feels very cheap and fragile. However, once this case is on, the Zen feels extremely sturdy and durable. I never take the case off of my Zen. All of the buttons are accessible through the case, and head phones and USB cables can plug in just fine. The belt clip is a great feature also. It is very secure and easy to reach when clipped on a belt. Sadly, the leather connecting the clip to the case is of very poor quality. Mine broke after just a couple of months use. Luckily, duct tape intervened and it now holds together stronger than ever. I would recommend taping it from the very start to avoid the same problem.It does not scratch easily, and has stayed very clear despite frequent use. The video stand I imagine would be great for some people, however I never use it. If you own a Creative Zen Player, then this case is a vital necessity that you can not do without.Customer Review: Great case, but scratches easily

This a great protective case for the Zen and while it does make the player slightly larger and noticeably heavier, it's for a good cause. It fits very tightly, so I could see how the "oil spots" on the screen could happen, but I haven't experienced that problem with mine, so it could be that they have refined the design to address this problem. I don't use the clip, but I can comment on how difficult it is to use being that it's circular instead of the standard oblong shape.
The one big downside is that this case scratches extremely easily. I always keep the player in either my pocket (with nothing else) or on my desk at work. Yet somehow it has become covered in fine scratches over the three months that I've had it. It is worth mentioning that the scratches are not noticeable when watching videos, but still, a protector should hold up better than the device itself.

A good, solid case. It is a little difficult to put on at first, but gets easier every time you do it. One of the cons, already mentioned, is that the screen on the case scratches easily. I guess scratches on a $20 case are better than a $200 player. Also as already mentioned, the little "leather" strip is a bit fragile looking, but hasn't failed on me yet. I do not have the oil spot on the screen, and the details and colors are transmitter accurately. Some cons I haven't seen are that the case covers the SD slot and the microphone, so you have to remove the case to get at either of these functions. I unwisely opened the case in the presence of sawdust and could not get all of it off of the inside of the case. Nevertheless, it handled a four foot drop onto a concrete floor (accident) perfectly without harm.Customer Review: Just Ok

This case is just ok, not good not bad.
The good:
The Keychain attached to the case is a nice feature. It seems ok and not as bad like most users are saying.
It seems that it might do his principal job quite well: Protect the Zen generally.
The Bad:
Seems like if you force it in any way it could break.
It is way to tight, pressing buttons is not that comfortable and the space given to the headphones jack is not big enough for different types. ie: I couldn't plug my Aux cable, i had to take the case away to do this.
Anyways, the principal reason is to protect your player. This one will do his job quite well, but not in a great form. I haven't tried the other cases so I can't compare them. I hope this helps.

I bought this case for my Zen 32Gb and I really don't have any complaints about it. If you're a female like me and have small fingers, you won't have any issues with the power button or navigational buttons. Most guys, especially ones with bigger hands won't like this case at all. I don't get the spot between the case and screen that others have complained about. The only improvement I would recommend is that Creative put something in the box that describes how to open/close the case. I spent an hour trying to "snap" it closed, but all you have to do is S-L-I-D-E it on and off. Would have been nice if there was a hole where the reset button is too. If you need to reset, you have to remove the back cover. The nicest thing about it? I don't have fingerprints all over my screen!
