Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Creative EP-640 In-Ear HeadphonesCustomer Review: These are not rotten apples Summary: 5 Stars
Hello all, I have had 2 pairs of these and they are amazing!! I definitely recommend these over any other earbuds. They are 10x better than Philips SHE5910, or Sony mdr-j10. Don't even get me started on the stock earbuds with the ipod. When i get enough money to buy a new ipod, those headphones are going straight in the trash.
Back to these headphones, They have very punchy deep bass nice crisp mids and highs. They are also very comfortable and i have worn these for 4 hours straight without any discomfort.
My only complaint is that the cord is not very long, but that is not that big of a problem.
Customer Review: Anybody hear a buzz?? Summary: 3 Stars
I know I'm probably supposed to burn them in first, but I got these at work so i don't have a iPod handy. However, I plugged them in my laptop, and I get this buzzy hiss. Fired up iTunes and when the music's playing, it sounds fine, but when idle, the noise is kinda annoying.
I got these to replace my busted Shure e2cs. The shures did a better job of sealing out ambient noise and felt more robust than the flimsier Creative cord. However, the creatives provide much more bass.
I'll update in a week or so...
Customer Review: Good, for the price. Summary: 4 Stars
I bought these headphones about 5 months ago. They work very good for the price (I paid $13 here on Amazon). The sound is very acceptable and the included carrying pouch is a nice feature. The only complaint that I have is that I cannot wear these headphones for more than an hour or so without my ears hurting. The rubber inserts seem to be a little too stiff. If you are an audiophile then these are not for you, but for occasional use they are perfect. You don't have to worry about breaking them either, since they are cheap.
Customer Review: EP-630 vs. EP-640, no difference whatsoever Summary: 5 Stars
just got the 640's today, and have been using the 630's for over a year. out of the box the physical specs are exactly the same. they come with the exact same sets of 3 silicone ear buds.
i ordered the 640s as a backup so i was able to compare the two models side by side using the same source. the sound is exactly the same. no noticeable difference in bass. they honestly appear to be the exact same earbuds simply repackaged.
so whatever you think of your 630s you'll feel the same way about these.
Customer Review: Piece of junk! Summary: 1 Stars
Headphones suck! Just got my order today. Plugged them into my iPod Touch and the first thing I hear is noise/static from the cord rubbing against anything. If I didn't move, they sounded fine. But whenever I moved, there was noise. My original iPod headphones do not do this.
These are useless for those who move around all day.
Perfect for those who are in a vegetative state or in a coma and will never move.
Don't waste your money. I am returning mine.
