Customer Review: Finally, a charger that works with my Zen Microphoto!

My wife and I both have Zen Microphotos. She plugs hers into a stereo at work and listens to stuff all day. She's a pharmacist and works 12 hour shifts, so she needs some variety. The problem was her battery wouldn't hold up all day. We tried some cheap universal adapters that didn't work very well. I hated the thought of spending $30, but it made a huge difference. The Creative Zen Adapter works like a charm---fast, reliable, and, unlike inexpensive "options" that destroyed other users' MP3 players, no problems have resulted...only fast, convenient charging. The company sent the product in a packaging that would have necessitated a nuclear bomb to damage it, and it arrived in much speedier time that I expected. As it is only a power charger it performs that task well. The only issue I have with it is the USB adapter that goes on the 3.5mm plug to convert it to
USB is very wide so when I use my Creative Zen Micro with my set of portable speakers I can not use both the 3.5mm connection to the speakers and the USB connecter to charge it. Not a huge deal, but they could make the adapter a little smaller, like the original one I purchased from Creative.

Nowhere I looked - when researching if I could use the adapter e.g. overseas -
does it state the range of the input voltage for the adapter !
This is the same on Creative's AND on Amazon's websites.
I would expect this info as part of the specification.
Answer - found on the hard to read mini label on the adapter :
Input : 100 - 240 VAC 50-60 Hz, Max 0.4 A, Output : 5 VDC 2.4A

I bought this to replace the AC charger that came with my 60 GB Vision W. The original one never worked and by the time I got around to dealing with it (through Creative) it was way too late. Buggers. You'd think that spending nearly $400 for the Vision W it would have a working AC adapter. I mean, how complicated are they? Anyway, the one I ordered through Amazon works great, decent price (sharp drop from original price sheesh!)
