Customer Review: Fine until the spring slips out

This armband and skin are great--comfortable, convenient, attractive, easy to use--everything you would want, until the tiny spring in the clip bounces across the room leaving the clip flaccid and useless. Ah, the time I've spent on my hands and knees at the gym hoping to spot the thing. Twice, because two weeks after I got a new one the same thing happened.
I've exercised extreme care since then, having learned what maneuver tends to precipitate the spring from its setting and into oblivion, and have been OK. But the usefulness of the whole rig hangs on that one tiny spring, which doesn't seem either to be substantially wedged into place or glued, or anything.
So I live in fear, because I haven't seen any alternative product. And there's no product support to contact to see if they'd be willing to drop a couple of spare springs or clip-assemblies in the mail. They probably cost 9 cents each.
