This is an awesome protective case. I wasn't sure at first because it's so lightweight, but now I love it. It's designed very well and the soft rubberized texture adds some needed grip to the phone. Match this with one of the screen protective films (I recommend getting the 'real' one from the Mac store) and you're completely covered with less than an oz. or two in weight and maybe 1/16th of an inch in extra width. The description says that you can use this protect the LCD. I really do not think that the product was designed to use in this way. If you frequently snap it on and off to protect the LCD the metal will get bent out of shape and not stay on.
It is a good case but I really hate false advertising.
Also, don't expect this to protect your iPhone from a drop, only superficial scratches to the body.

This case does exactly what I want it to except for the fact that the metal bezel around the screen is totally scratched up. I was meticulous about preventing dirt, dust, or other particles from being introduced, but it still happened. That being said, the case covers it.
The main reason I like it is because the iphone no longer slips out of my hand. Unfortunately, it scratched my phone.

I bought this case in January 2009 and by September it was starting to crack on the corners and fall apart. Last week a part of it had ripped off to the point that I decided it wasn't protecting my phone well enough anymore. I am disappointed that this product didn't even last one year. I purchased here on Amazon the black and the silver versions of this case, and it is perfect. I looked around for about 2 weeks after getting my iPhone for the perfect case and all had negative sides.
This case is perfect, it's slim (will add about 2 milimeters to the size of the phone, it's strong and will protect from scratching, and it's perfect fit!!
