This case was just what I was looking for--something that would make my iPhone easier to grip but that wouldn't take away from its very sleek look. As others have noted--no, it doesn't protect the screen, it only protects the back. But after watching the 'crash-testing' of the iPhone that demonstrated that the screen is virtually unscratchable, I wasn't nervous about the screen ever getting damaged.
No, your iPhone wont fit into the dock with this case on (unless you get a universal dock, another $40) but it's really easy to click on and click off so it really doesn't bother me. And it's made out of this great 'grippy' material that makes your iPhone easier to hold without making it hard to put in your pocket.
I love this case because it makes my iPhone easier to hold on to, and it's virtually invisible! People don't even notice it's on there (i got the chrome-tinted one)--even when they're looking up close!
(The only con is that it's a bit overpriced because it's just a little light thing, but I guess the money pays for how ingeniously well it's disguised on your phone...)

This case is exactly what I was looking for. It is the slimmest case of it's kind, but that is only one of it's great attributes.
The other plus is the unique feel of the case. It difficult to tell from the photos of this product but it is a combination hard/soft case. The case is rigid yet flexible and does not have a hard plastic feel to it, it has a nice rubberized grip to it, but is not soft and rubbery like other skin cases. Like others have said, does not attract lint and is easy to slide in and out of your pocket. The edges of it seem sharp but it has yet to leave a scratch from removing it from it's case to dock it. Does not fit in the iPhone Dock, but it does fit in the universal Dock with the case on.
Shipping is exorbitant, the thing only weighs a few grams, and at that cost could be shipped priority mail. Took them over a week to ship mine, but once actually shipped took 2 days to receive.
They also have one available in silver, which is the one I purchased, doesn't even look like the phone has a case on it.

After searching endlessly for the "perfect" Iphone case, my dedication finally paid off. I wanted a case that provided full access to my Iphone, yet also afforded as much protection as practically possible. The Cozip case fits the bill beautifully. It protects the back and sides of the phone, while allowing full access to the screen and controls. It additionally lets me grip the phone much more securely. It is very thin, which allows me to carry the Iphone in a very elegant leather, pouch-case with rotating belt-clip, ( the Gizmoskin). The two part "system" gives me the best of both worlds...a full protective sheepskin case, that attaches to my waist band, and the Cozip minimalist grip-case to help me handle the Iphone during use, and yet still protects when I lay it down on a desk or table. Buy the way, it is not necessary to take it off for charging in the base, because it is a little too thick, but one can just unplug the cable from the back of the base and plug it directly into the Iphone with the Cozip in place. This case is not only stylish, but the slimmest out there. It may not protect the best, but it covers the back nicely and adds a nice grip to the slippery metallic iPhone.
I like my phones slim and clutter free, so usually I don't like cases, but with the slippery aluminum cover, I felt like the phone was always going to slip from my grip. With this cover, you have all buttons and ports free and still have a nice grip, akin to the ATT Blackjack or new black Moto Q.
In times of uncertainty you can also flip the phone around and put it in face first.
Also something minor to think about, but adds to its features: Look at the pictures and see the circle that is cut out to expose the Apple logo. It is not only stylish but it helps tell the orientation of the phone in your pocket. This is a minor detail, but it helps when digging the phone from your pocket over and over.
All in all a great case, very slim, adds a grip without bulk, and does not grab pockets like the rubber cases.
Customer Review: super cheap, won't protect phone if you drop it, just from scratches on the back

You would expect this case to cover the front, back, and the sides, but it does not. It is a one piece case that just snaps onto the back of the phone exposing a lot of the corners and sides. It'll definitely prevent scratches on the phone, but only for the back of the phone, not even the silver lining around the screen or corners. This case is so cheap you can tell they just used a type of black spray paint and coating. The inside is white with spray paint marks. You can say that you get what you paid for, but this is something I expected from eBay when I order from someone out of the country for really cheap, not so much Amazon.
But if you want a case that will prevent damage to your phone if you were to drop it, I honestly suggest getting Agent18 or the slide case from the Apple Store, or the Otter box cases. If you don't care about your phone and you just want to hide the backing, then this is for you.
I think I much rather spend $20 on an Agent18 case after seeing what I got.
