My life was over.
A burned out shell of a man, night after night I wandered down deserted alleys of abandoned factory slums, staring at the cold, cold ground, cursing my bitter fate. So sad - I couldn't meet strangers' eyes and I feared their harsh judgment.. I only had .. 1 gig of ram on my old Gateway.. With Vista 64-bit, I could hardly play tetris without paralyzing fear or screen-stutter..
Dread filled me.
But then - like a Phoenix from the ashes .. I bought.. Corsair TR3X6G1333C9..
And then the extacy came and overwhelmed me and like a tidal wave over a Indonesian beach hotel.
Fast as angry greased farm-animals sliding down the luge-sled track at an Olympic ski-resort - Everything worked!
So many windows .. All open at once! so fluid.. the machine was almost organic in it's reflexive, instant response to my every whim. Like having the Vulcan Mind-Meld with my desktop that I'd always imagined.
Long will this memory live in my memory!
Free from the darkness..lighter than air - I feel now I can become the person I had buried deep inside.. But burying people is against the law so I shouldn't mention it here.
