Customer Review: cheap, excellent quality, last twice as long as brother ink

Of course I was skeptical about this item initially, but wow, this is the real deal. This ink lasts AT LEAST twice as long as the brother ink. Here's how I know. have 2 Brother MFC 240c printers, one in my office and one in my house. I installed the one in my law office about 3 weeks ago, and, used sparingly, the black ink is already low. That has the original brother ink that came with the printer. The one in my house I've had for 2 years, and I installed this generic ink in it 5 months ago, with moderate to heavy use, and it's just now getting empty. So if you want to conservatively quantify the price, divide the price on these generics by two and you'll have some idea of the trememdous savings. Now the one drawback to the printer, the short lifespan of the ink, has been rectified. The ink is of equal quality to the Brother ink and I've never had a problem it. Very good product, and highly recommended.Customer Review: So far so good!

This is for the set of three colors CYM and two Black cartridges.
The reason I've titled the review "so far so good", is that I've just been using one of the colors (Cyan) for several weeks now, and the prints are coming out looking good with the two other colors (and a black one) still in the machine being Brother "OEM" cartridges. We now know that these colors will work together OK with Brother products.
Shipping was fast and you do receive 5 cartridges. They look kind of odd compared to the 885CW's, however the machine reads them as though they were the "real" ones and they fit fine.
As I get the other cartridges into use I will try to get back here if something starts acting funny. But this set is shaping up to be a very good deal, indeed.

I know---Your first thought is that it is too good to be true. That is exactly what I thought; but one day early August my sister and I (knowing that my nephew wanted ink for his b-day and that her family, in general, uses a good bit of ink) decided to check Amazon for a deal. Amazon almost always undercuts everybody on their pricing. Voila! Better deal than we expected---good price, good reviews, and good rating on seller. We decided to chance the price of one name brand ink cartridge for a whole set (two black & one of each color). GOOD DEAL!!
P.S. I'm bad about not taking the time to write a review (good or bad), but I'm about to order some more ink and thought I should forward the good find.

I bought the Brother MFC 490 printer in March 2009, that has been great wireless for our laptop as well, but when I purchased the Printer, this set of Ink Cartridges was suggested as an add on, the price was right, but I ASSUMED that the suggested cartridges would be capatible with the Printer I was currently buying, well 6 months later I finally need to use these add on cartridges only to find out that they dont fit!!! Lesson learned, never assume that the Amazon add ons are capatible to whatever you are buying, never will do another add on purchase again.Customer Review: Works just like brother ink on my MFC-685cw printer

Like many, it's gotten hard to afford office supplies for my home based business. There's no way I could buy the brother cartridges right now, so I figured I'd check this out. The blank ink looks just like the brother ink, and besides the actual cartridge, there's absolutely no way to tell the difference! Same quality, ink level is still recognized on my computers. Fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to order more and definitely will in the future. This is the only time I didn't mind paying shipping and handling!
