When I saw the price on this compared to the original manufacturer's, I thought...Sold! I have a home office and in a busy week I might print 25 pages. So you can imagine my surprise when after about 30 days or so, my machine was warining of low toner. Long story short...there's no way this thing will come close to the 2500 page compatibility it claims. I also have been getting a solid line that comes out on all of my copies. Until I saw another review having the same issue, I thought it was my printer. Bottom line, I paid $25 for the thing and for what it's worth there was ink in it. However, I'll be sticking with the manufacturers product at about double the price from now on. Ultimately, you get what you pay for.Customer Review: Works fine with a Brother MFC-7820N

Many people have reservations buying refurbished toner cartridges. A bad toner cartridge may have killed my old Samsung printer, but how can you really tell if it was the toner or the printer? (The printer was 4 years old, and I got more than 12k pages for a $50 printer.) When you consider the cost of the toner vs. the cost of a printer and consider that you can find brand new laser printers for less than $60, it's worth the risk. Buying two or three refurbished toner cartridges will pay for the printer.
That being said, this particular toner cartridge works fine. We've had it for about two months, and the pages look crisp just like with the original Brother toner cartridge.

I bought this toner because it was the a good price.
When I received my new toner, no instructions were enclosed; as a 60+ woman,I need that.After about 1/2 hour or more, I finally was able to installed it.
I was disappointed in the print quality of my "new"Black toner. What was suppose to be 100% black, printed in shades of gray tones - from black to light gray.
Unfortunately, I had thrown out the shipping information and box or I would have returned it as defective.I would have liked to have known the return policy when I received this item.

Make sure you use/test this cartridge before the 30 day period. I had to demand a full refund. We ordered this in anticipation of our printer running low on ink, but like others, you don't change the cartridge until you have to. Well, it was after the 30 day refund period. The cartridge was bad out of the box. Had a line that looked like letters right down the middle of our printed documents. Where is the Quality Assurance? This should have been caught at the MFG. As this was for a SOHO, what if I had needed it right away to print important documents. I would have been at a severe disadvantage.Customer Review: Awful print Quality

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I bought this cartridge because it was less than half the price of retail. It arrive packed in bubble wrap, and when I took it out the seal Brother puts on these was broken and it was obvious this had been refilled. I am all about recycling, but this cartridge always left tons of black smudges on the paper (like those old 1960's reel films!) After a week I took this to Office max to recycle and bought a new one from them. The new one was $60 but the prints are perfect again. Don't waste your money, THIS IS NOT A BARGAIN!
