Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Personal CD Player with 60 Sec. Anti Skip & Stereo Headphones

Customer Review: works but cheap
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this product so I could listen to CD's while in bed. When I got the CD out of the box and attempted to use it, I had to readjust the headphone jack several times to get the sound to work on both sides. The place to put in the batteries was cheap plastic and will break easily if mishandled. This product does work, but, you must handle with care for fear of breakage. I feel this product will at most last a year because it is made so cheaply. If you want a CD player then pay a little extra to get one that is made better.

Customer Review: You get what you pay for - poor quality & lacking features
Summary: 1 Stars

I put this on my wishlist because I didn't want friends spending a lot of money, but I could use a CD player. It feels flimsy and cheap. It goes through batteries like crazy. There is no way to stop it at a particular location and re-start later at that same location. If you hit pause and are delayed coming back, the batteries are dead. The left side of the headset already stopped working (I've had it for about 1 1/2 months of minor use). I do not recommend this to anyone. It's very annoying.

Customer Review: good product when it isn't broken...
Summary: 2 Stars

good sound quality, about as good as a $40 sony player, except it doesn't seem to last more than a month or so...I got 1 from my local Entertainment-and-other-stuff retailer and it wouldn't even read a disc. I exchanged it for another, per their return policy, and it lasted 3 weeks or thereabouts. Fortunately I was able to get a refund in the form of store credit instead of exchanging it again, but yeah...sucks that sound quality doesn't get much better than this, at least as far as I can tell...

Customer Review: Good Customer Service
Summary: 4 Stars

The company I purchased the personal CDplayer from, Coby, has good customer service as I discovered when I had to call about a technical problem in the operation of the player. I described the problem to a supportive tech person, who was easy to reach by phone--no long menu of choices to listen before I talked to a real person. The player has to be returned to the company and it will be replaced by Coby at no extra charge except for a small shipping charge.

Customer Review: Nice little play
Summary: 3 Stars

I like the player. It is easy to use and has good sound. My only disappointment was that it doesn't have an AC jack. It really never occurred to me to check that before I bought it. I have rechargable batteries, so it isn't a problem, I just prefer having the AC power option. It included good headphones.
