I don't know if anyone has experienced similar problems, but when I got my frame it would distort the bottom inch or so of some of my pictures. The bottom inch would turn whitish with a few of the details of the photo coming through-- almost as if it was a negative of the image. Upon rotating the photo, the same portion of it would be distorted. I checked the photos on my computer and they were fine, so it had to be the frame. I took the SD card out and put it back in and had the same problem.
I'm sure most of the frames are fine and this one was just defective, nonetheless I couldn't rate it over a 1.

I bought this from Long's. It powered up fine and showed the demo slideshow, but nomatter what I did, my photos showed up as a black screen. I tried a photo card and it said it couldn't read it. I tried a flash drive, and there was no jpeg preview and the photo was black. I tried to plug it directly into my camera and it still came up with no preview and a black screen. I even called Coby tech support to find out if I was doing something wrong and she told me to return it. I thought this would be a good deal for the money, but now I'm just going to go out and spend the money on the Sony version. I hope it works.Customer Review: Okay as an entry product

I bought this for Mother's Day for my wife. Initial setup was straight forward and easy with the manual. The fact it has no internal memory is a drawback but makes it a lot less expensive. The remote is easy to use and the shuffle feature is nice. It only uses memory cards so I bought a 2GB card for $20 on sale, and it holds all the pictures I care to display, plus music for the music feature in the frame. The resolution is not real great, and the colors tend to wash out in a bright room. But for the price it is a very good product. Just plug it in, load a card with pictures and music, and let the memories scroll by.Customer Review: I got this for my wife, she loves it (now )

I researched this type of frame. I found this frame had the most features for the size and money. it has video output, remote control, built in speakers, and can be used as a data storage device. My wife(a network administrator)thought what am I going to do with this? I mean she was upset I got it. So I popped in the sd memory card, hit a few buttons and her eyes lite up when our daughter was dancing and singing on the screen, then I plugged it in the tv (cable not included, radio shack or camcorder) she had to go get her mom. I have done a lot of research into these frames, and this product does all I need it to do, playing mp3's on stereo speakers, showing my pictures in a slide show, and having interchangeable frames, along with reading compact flash, sd, mm, memory stick, and XD. The only other competator in it's class is the new GPX 7 inch. The display is a standard 480 x 234, and does not feature mosaic such as the 7 inch westinghouse and the polaroids, but those do not play mp3's. overall, if you treat this right, know what you are doing with computers, it works fine and has no glitches. Worth a look at.
