I bought this for my boyfriend so he could record himself playing guitar and for playing music while he jammed with it. The speakers put out some awesome sound.I did buy it thru the Amazon warehouse...which only said the box was damaged... but one of the speaker grilles had a 3" dent in it,but for the money I saved it was worth the dent.Boom boxes are harder to find than you think.The quality of this product is OMG awesome.Customer Review: bad product

We purchased a Coby boombox. Everytime we turned up the volumn, the cd would skip. We tried this several times and it was always the same. We returned it and received another one. It did the same thing. I called Coby and they said the Boombox was defected so we had to send it back again! THIS PLAYS VERY WELL. I LOVE IT. I BOUGHT AN OPTIONAL EARPLUG FOR PLAYING - AS YOU KNOW IT MAKES THE SOUND EVEN NICER! (IF THAT'S POSSIBLE.) IT'S A BIT BIG BUT I GAVE IT A SHELF OF ITS OWN IN MY BOOKCASE AND IT DOES QUITE NICELY. EVERYTHING IMAGINABLE IS INCLUDED. TAKE A CHANCE ON THIS ONE, ANYTIME.Customer Review: Great Product!

I highly recommend anyone try this radio/cd/cassette player. I used it for a family reunion where there was no electricity. The player runs on electricity or batteries and the sound, using batteries, is fantastic. You can also hook up a microphone. It was definitely a good purchase.Customer Review: decieving

This product was not AT ALL what I expected. It is nothing more than old cheap technology in a new technology wrapper. I have a shower radio that sounds better. It has NO notable powered sub function. It's sonic qualities don't exist. I would like to return it. It's crap.
