I didn't expect good sound from this type of transmitter, but this one sounds great to me. I would say 90 percent of the time it sounds just like a CD. Occasionally I hear something that reminds me otherwise, but I doubt it could get much better. This is a great buy!! Glad I didn't spend two or three times more for the same type of device. If you have a cigarette lighter and a headphone jack, you can use it!
