We purchased this item for use in our kid's room, mostly for night time background music. It works great out of the box and plays back with the ability to repeat one CD track or the entire CD. We've been playing CDs about 11 hours per day for the past month and it continues to play well. It provides good low-volume sound in an average size bedroom. This has been a perfect, low-cost portable stereo for us.Customer Review: Cheap feel, tin sound, not loud.

I was not impressed with this CD player. It has a tinny sound to it and the volume is limited. Would not be good for the outdoors, where I bought it for. The CD player skips, so I know this is a defective unit thus far. The radio reception is also sub-par. Some of the markings (decals) are rubbed off and the unit had some scratches on it like it was a return or refurb. Will most likely return it to Amazon.Customer Review: You get what you pay for...

Words cannot describe what a waste of money this CD player is. Mine stopped working properly only 24 hours after I bought it. I now get an "error" message every time it plays one or two songs and then it shuts down. A week later it started skipping (and I know it's not my CDs because I've tried multiple). I'm going to spend a few more dollars and buy something else that lasts!!Customer Review: perfect for the price, using in toddler's room

I needed something that could handle being in a toddler's room, and that if broken, would not rattle my chain. It's just great. Great sound, easy to carry around if needed (on battery) and small enough to put on the end table. My only con would be the volume and change channel buttons are not so easy to see from the front, would be MUCH better to have those things on the top.Customer Review: A radio of fleur

It works - I only just tried it; and the sound is great. There's a voltage button (110 or 220), which works; and it's user friendly. The plug is American, though - although this does not pose a problem, as you can easily obtain a travel plug.
I love its look - to me it's like a tiny extraterrestrial being. It pretty, and the gift was gratefully accepted.
