Bought this to hook up to a car battery so I can run small electrical tools (weed eater, reciprocating saw, drill, etc.) anywhere on my property without running a couple hundred feet of extension cord. Mounted the battery and inverter on a small cart and the setup works flawlessly. The digital readout and warning beeper work as advertised. very efficient and quiet. i have used many inverters in the past but this brand is what i will buy from now on.other brands' fan starting to go right away contributing to drainage of your battery.the cobra cpi 1575 starts only when it needs to and i am yet to see it heat up for a need for the fans to come on.buy this model and you'll not be dissappointed.Customer Review: Worked very well powering pitching machine

I purchased this inverter to power a 700 Watt pitching machine down at the ball field. The inverter had no problem powering the pitching machine. It pitched around 140 balls before my RV's marine battery ran low on juice. I would highly recommend this product. I use this in the trunk of my 1982 Mercedes to power an immersion heater for a vegetable oil tank. I heat approximately 15 gallons of vegetable oil, which pretty much drains the deep cycle battery that is dedicated to the inverter. In the cold months, this inverter is handling 1.2 kW for about an hour everyday, and I haven't had a single problem.Customer Review: Great inverter, price was great!

I bought this inverter for my semi and I use it on a daily basis. It runs my laptop and my small microwave with no problem. It has a low profile so it doesn't take up much space. It runs quietly even when the cooling fans are running full speed. I've used other smaller Cobra inverters in the past and I've been very happy with their products.
