This product works great, I have a microwave, flatscreen tv, and a toaster i hook up to it and there is no problems. One thing I wish would have been mentioned somewhere is that you need to purchase a 150 amp inline fuse to put in the power wire from the battery to the inverter. So plan on getting one of those and have it ready so you can install it. I didnt know about it and spent some time in North Dakota trying to find one. Enjoy.Customer Review: disappointed

I purchased this inverter to replace one that no longer would work after four years. same amount of watts 1500, the cobra 1500 would only operate very small items like drills,lights, etc. but would not run a 800 watt microwave.It was almost like the cobra was A 600 watt labled 15OO watt. at this rate I would have to buy 2000 watt cobra to operate what my old 1500 watt operated. I think I will look at small generators.Customer Review: Love It!

Absolutely no compalints with this inverter. After I installed it and turned it on, nothing happened. I have two other inverters of inferior quality to the Cobra and their fans run from the moment you turn them on until you turn them off. The Cobra only runs its fan when the draw is sufficient to heat up the unit. I haven't heard the fan run since I bought it. I bought CPI 1575 (new) and it had a very low power output. I exchanged it for another assuming I got a bad one. I decided to bench test this one before installing. The voltage on this one varied between 89 and 122 volts depending on load. Sent this back for a refund and ordered a Xantrex 1200. The Xantrex 1200 cost more but it works perfect. Luckily Amazon's return policy made the exchages very easy.Customer Review: Misinformation

I'd just like to say that the product is advertised as a 3000 watt but what it really is is a 1500 watt (3000 watt peak) if the thing is 1500 watt why advertise it as a 3000 watt?
