This device has terrible feedback (high pitch noise) which could significantly harm hearing. It picks up all the noise in a room, so you hear a door close, people's conversation as much as the TV or music. When a door was closed, there was a huge bang sound in my ear. I was afraid I would lose whatever hearing I had left. I sent it right back
