Customer Review: 6-in-1 portable memory -- good product, very versatile

I originally got two of these "free" with a purchase of Micro SD discs. I thought, Why not? Once I found out how versatile they are, when I ordered more SD discs, I purchased more of these (I am forever misplacing small items like these things!). I use them in my car in the USB port to listen to audio books on the way to and from work (listening to a story keeps me awake after a 12-hour night shift, where mindless drivel of talk radio, or music, would put me to sleep and make me a dangerous driver!) With the whole book on a single disc, there is no changing of CD's while trying to drive.
I also use them to transfer files from my wife's computer, to mine. The all-in-one printer/scanner is only attached to her computer (mine is a wireless laptop), so anything I want to scan goes via her computer to a micro-SD va this 6-in-1 adapter, then the adapter gets put into my computer and copied to my computer. (I also use an SD disc as a backup for both computer's hard-drives, and the USB port is the easiest way to copy "My Documents", "My pictures", etc. on a weekly basis to the 16GB SD, since both computers have a USB port, but both do not have an SD reader/drive.
All in all, for the low price (less than $5 including shipping, even when I could not get them "free"), they are a great value for the convenience they give me.
The only negative I have on them is the old computer (a 7yr old Dell) had its USB ports too close to a bit of housing for this adapter to go into the USB port. The housing of the 6-in-1 was too "fat" when compared to a USB cable. The new Dell we got has the same problem, but with just barely enough space to squeeze the 6-in-1 into the USB port -- a VERY tight fit, but it does go. So, if your USB port is close to a housing protrusion, this thing may be too "fat" to fit. But with the low price, it's still a worthwhile gamble.
