Customer Review: Knew nothing about TV mounts

I knew absolutely nothing about TV mounts and did some research to find what I should be looking for. Same mount I purchased for my (37 inch flat screen) TV was in Best Buy for $79.99 I got for $22 on Amazon.
Great mount served purpose very happy with quality and more importantly ease of installation. Only one thing to note: you should make sure you have the screw type needed for attaching the actual mount to the TV. They give you the mount and some random screws but none fit my TV. I had to go to Home Depot to purchase them. Sometimes the same screws for the Flat Screen TV base fit the back for the mount, in my case they were too long.
Great purchase at a significant discount, fast ship too.

I bought this mount about a month ago. I am very pleased with it and it functions and looks great. The tilt option really helps since I'm using it in a bedroom and I hanged the LCD high on the wall.
My only problem with this product is it's poor design. It's only a problem in the installation, but a good pair of hands can manage in few minutes. The problem appears only when you try to install the mount with full tilt down. As I said, it is a minor problem that only bother you while installing so I still think it's a great product for the money you pay.
Another small issue is the small level attached to the mount - don't count on it. Use your own level or the small level they give with the mount
The build quality is very good.

I ordered this mount for my Vizio 26". However the holes in the back of my Vizio for the mount screws were too small for the screws provided. Luckily I had a bunch of different ones laying around, but they turned out to be too short for the spacers provided and too long for the flat screen without. BUT I got it to work by using a nut and then washers, a large one and then a small one to make sure the screw wouldn't slip through the mount, while I screwed the screw in as far as possible. It worked!
This is a great, sturdy product, but considering the wide range of TVs out there, I don't think the screws provided for the mount are universal. They do come in 3 different sizes but be aware that you might need smaller ones.

My wife and I were looking at some of the mounts at the store that we could have gotten with our tv, and we just thought the prices were ridiculous. I decided to look online to see if I could find a more reasonable priced wall mount for our new tv....
Look no further. The Cheetah Mounts are stable, heavy duty, good looking, and unlike many items you buy with adjustable parts--they include MORE parts than you need. There are good directions, and even a level that comes with the mount--as well as a small level mounted on the against-the-wall piece of the mount. I can't express my satisfaction enough, this product is more than worth it for the price, and you will not be disappointed!

I purchased this mount for my Samsung 32" LCD tv. Due to the light weight of the tv, I was not at all worried about the slim structure of these mounts, they were more than strong enough to hold the tv on the wall. The install was overall very easy, instructions were easy to follow. My only critique of this product was that not enough rubber/plastic spacers were provided as the screws did not go very far into the back of my tv, and I therefore needed to use a handful of my own washers/spacers to create a snug fit between the tv and the mounts. Overall it does the job it says on the advertisement and I saved a ton of money compared to if I bought a tv wall mount at a retail store.
