Customer Review: Worked to hang my 3D TV but not without issues.

Does its job, hides behind the TV. Issues are as follows:
a) Too little clearance behind the TV to plug in the wires or make changes.
b) Tilt action has 2 hooks on each side and either you leave them lose or tighten them in place for a fixed tilt angle, changing them is not easy as the bolt for the inside hooks are hard to reach esp. given the clearance from the wall and the height and depth of the bolt from the side.
c) Screws to the bottom are too difficult to reach and you could get into an issue with removing the TV if these screws are too tight i.e. if you need to pull the TV down and rehang it.
d) Level bubble is off do not rely on it and buy yourself a better one from another source.
e) Overall the the mount is sturdy and cheap compared to retail but there are issues that need to be dealt with.
f) Worked flawlessly with my Sony 55" 3D TV no issues hooking it up.

To be honest this was my first wall mount that I have purchased and so far very pleased. I asked around about wall mounts and prices and who would be the best buy from. Low and behold my wife was like, you should try amazom.com i buy everything from them and their cheap. So I was like what the heck and started my search. I found the cheapest mount I could and compared it with other ones that were anywhere from 30$ on up that basically did the same thing. Nothin fancy just a sturdy frame and good size screws fpr the wall. I recommend using the biggest screw they offer in the package and lining the mount up with the studs. The only down side to it was tring to line it up directly on the studs I accidently drill into a stud and then came out the side of it. Other than that I will be purchasing a cheetah mount that holds a 52 inch for my main TV.

This product has been a nightmare. First, you have to assemble the wall plate with 4 pieces, which was...ok. Then to mount it to the wall, they include 4 large screws with 4 large mali's. problem is, the malis dont "exactly" fit the screws. They are close but the screws just keep on spinning and spinning. The above poster is correct, the built in level is a bit off too. The mounting backets done fit perfectly on the TV either, they are a bit lose. but attached and hanging so not a huge deal.
So when all is said and done...i had to go to Home Depot and get my own set of malis and screws and attach those to ensure it wont fall of the wall.
I bought a larger TV for my living room and a wall mount bracket from Walmart for it...fit perfect. This one, be prepared to sweat and get frustrated.

I love this mount! I have a 32'' Vizio flat screen tv and this mount fits it perfectly. It holds it up very well and does not stick out on either end. The instructions were horrible however. It took me over an hour to get everything figured out and most of that time was trying to interpret one of the steps (side note: finding my wall studs, securing vertical mounts to tv, and placing tv on mount only took me a few min). The pictures were not too clear (as far as explanation) but other than that, I am very pleased. All you need is a drill, screw driver, stud finder, and patience. It's real real secure once all is done. Also, two screws on both bottom ends of the vertical mounts really lock the tv into place. Comes with all necessary screws and a free leveler. This mount works well with our 32" Samsung and mounts very securely to the wall. I was a little surprised at the size of the bolts that are used to drive the mount into the wall. Let's just say that it shouldn't have ANY trouble with your 32" TV no matter the weight.
So, the pros are that it was easy to set up, installed quickly, and is secure and small. Also, the TV can slide left and right, which is nice.
The cons are that the built in level is completely useless. I wish it wasn't there because everyone who's seen it comments about the mount no being level, but my expensive level (and my eyes) say it is. Another con is that the tilt angle is difficult to adjust.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the mount and would purchase again.
