I thought I had seen a review from someone that said they couldn't write information to the memory card when using this device, only read from it. Im not sure why they are having problems, I have none with the read or write functions using this unit. I use it to transfer mp3s to a 2GB Sandisk card and play on my garmin gps, and it works perfect.Customer Review: Handy little card reader

I was glad to have gotten this for free with my order of HDSD cards. Some people are not aware that a lot of computers/labtops are not able to directly read these HDSD cards from the built in multimedia reader. Its very handy to just plug it into my USB port too. I ordered this Memory Card Reader based on the photo on Amazon. When I got it, it was unwrapped, no instructions were included and it was made in China. It did not look like the photo on Amazon.
I got no satisfaction from the dealer. Needless to say, I will not even use this piece of junk.

This memory card reader is very handy to have. It can read the memory cards from your camera, cell phone and other devices. It's easier to put the card in this and read them rather than trying to find all of the cables that go with all of your devices so you can download pictures from the card. This item does not work. I have tried one two computers. I'd say spend the extra ten bucks and get a good working reader. I have one that works great. These little key looking ones, I have 2. Neither work. The other one is from I/O gear.
Best of luck finding a good working car reader. Took me 3 tries.
