the best thing i can say is that this didnt put me out much money... unlike most of the other 1 stars it did recognize my 8 gig micro sd card but when i went to show someone it was an sd card was (who knew there were people that hadnt used them before) the reader jammed. when i finally was able to remove the card it had bent one of the pins inside and damaged the micro sd to sd converter. but if you never have to swap cards and your comp recognizes it you might get what you're looking forCustomer Review: Excellent Multi-Purpose Gadget

Ordered two Sandisk 4GB MicroSDHC memory cards with SD adapters. Digital Media Source (the store where the memory card and adapter came from) offered this card reader free with the purchase. One of the readers worked perfectly, the other gives an error message whenever a memory card or combo card is inserted in the reader. Unfortunately, I spent a couple of hours trying to get the bad one to work before I finally tried the other reader and found it worked.Customer Review: Not quite as described

I should have read the reviews before I purchased this product. I would have then known that I need an adapter for my minisd before I could use this product. I was actually trying to buy an adapter to read my minisd and the description for this product did not specify that you need an adapter for a minisd. I rated this product as I did due to the fact that I do not know how this product works since I am now waiting for my adapter to be delivered.Customer Review: Doesn't work

Bought this as a gift for a friend and was embarrassed when I gave it to her and it wouldn't work. The computers I tried (my laptop [Vista] and a school computer [XP]) will not recognize it. It shows up in My Computer, but when I try to open the removable drive it tells me to insert something into the F drive, even though it's already there.
Buyer beware...seems like a lot of people had no problems with it but not me!
