I don't know how trust worthy this vendor is as ordered over 30 days ago charged for item and freight but have never received. Definitley amazing price and does the job well, however, I find it has lowered the volume a considerable amount. I end up having to turn my iphone volume way up just to even hear my headphones when its noisy out. Overall, it is a good adapter, especially for the price, just be prepared to raise the volume a little extra.Customer Review: It does the job.

This is a no frill basic adapter that allows you to use a normal set of headphones on the 1G iPhone. Don't expect too much, as it's a basic black cable, nothing fancy ... but it gets the job done. This iPhone adapter in incorrectly wired from male to female connector and therefore there is no true Left/Right stereo. Yes, sound comes from both earphones but without be the true left and right channels. Same goes for the yooZoo adapter from myGearStore which is an identical product. I have a Belkin adapter that is hard rubber and not flexible at all which pulls out of my phone every time I put it in my pocket. This adapter however has a small jack with a flexible cord about 4" long so it doesn't become an antenna like extension off your phone. A great buy and the price is just right.
