Customer Review: Works, but...

It's plug and play and it works like it's supposed to. I should mention that I use it to switch my top of the line monitor between my computer and my XBOX 360. The fact that my monitor is high end may be the reason for the missing stars. What happens when I start my computer up is that this little box changes my screen resolution and the quality of the picture is reduced. The only way to fix it is to start the computer up directly connected to the monitor, then unplug and go through the switch box; changing the resolution through my OS does nothing. I think the computer is recognizing the switch box as a monitor or something like that, I'm not an expert though. So, I can get it to maintain screen resolution by fumbling around a bit with the cords, but that's why I got the thing in the first place; so I don't have to switch cables around. As long as I don't shut down or restart my computer it works fine and I haven't had any issues at all with the XBOX 360.
The Pros:
It works.
It's cheap.
It's easy to set up and use.
The Cons:
It may affect the quality and resolution of your picture.
Update: October 27, 2010. Knob came off a few days ago. The switch still works as it did before and I was able to put a bit of superglue inside the plastic knob and slide it back on; though I don't expect it to be long before it comes off again. Another con for this product; although you can't expect more for the money to be honest.
