Overall, it's a solid product. It didn't blow me away and I thought a few things could have been better but for the price it's a good deal.
PROS:
* It's comfortable.
* It integrates nicely with same brand cases.
*Solid construction.
*Much nicer versus dragging a backpack along for a couple lenses.
*Large buckle in the front makes it a breeze to pop on and off.
*Attaching and removing cases is quick and secure. Never once felt like I was going to lose gear.
CONS:
*Loops on the belt are placed a bit sparsely. So you need to attach heavy gear next to one of the loops on the pad to keep it from peeling and sagging away.
*Made for a ~35" waist. There is a lack of pad loops toward the last ~8" of pad as they suspect you'll tuck it in.
*Will fit a 40" waist MAX. I had to sew on an additional loop to keep the last 8" piece of pad from sliding around and.
DISAPPOINTMENT:
I'm 6"5 and it was too tiny to sling around one shoulder and across my chest. This probably won't affect most people, but I like to shift my load around a lot and due to the size I can't.
In the end, you might be better off with some military surplus gear if you're a bigger person. Otherwise, this is probably as good as you'll get - particularly in the price range.
