Purchased this cable to connect from my laptop's docking station to my HDTV Sony TV so that I can get rid of the ghosting problem that I had with the VGA cable.
Works as expected, digital signal has handled better by the TV no ghosting and the output is now crisp clear.
The build quality is fair nothing usual. Not that I am expecting it to be leather coated. All in all good product but yes from DVI-D there is no Audio and this cable does not solve that problem.

I use this cable to plug my computer into my LCD TV. The image is crystal clear and crisp and beautiful! Gaming has never been better!
Why pay over $50 for a "premium" cable when a cable is a cable? A digital signal can't get any "better" and a lot of companies who make these premium cables are flooding the market with over-expensive items that don't do anything better than their less expensive counter-parts.
Definitely a recommended buy for any setup!

I used this cable to connect an older Sony HDTV with a DVI input to a Sony Playstation3. It worked just fine. The Playstation3 used the DVI to HDMI cable for the video and used the audio from the composite (or component, I get the two mixed up) cable that came with the system. It links fast with no compatibility issues or obvious image quality issues. The Sony TV is capable of 720P and 1080I and both modes looked good to me. I got these cables plus a mini DVI to DVI converted and everything worked splendidly. I recommend getting the mini DVI to DVI through Amazon as well. Link here: Apple Mini-dvi To Video Adapter. Sometimes a thing works so well as to seem to be not there at all. As I write this, it occurrs to me that all my breathing so far today has carried on so flawlessly that until now, I've not even noticed.
Such is the case with this cable. It came, I installed it, it worked. My thanks to all who had anything to do with the creation of this "plain-ole" cable. It is definitely part of the solution and not a part of the problems in my life.
