This cable does its job. I went to target the other day and the cheapest HDMI cable they had was $49.99- OUCH!
But amazon always has a good way of showing me which products work the best with the help of all the reviews.
For the amount of this cable $12-13 I saved a whole lot of money and am just as satisfied as if I bought a more expensive one.
Cable companies like monster are just hype. There are always cheaper alternatives, just gotta hunt for them.
I highly recommend this cable for anyone who uses hdtv, gaming systems, hd-dvds or blu-ray, it is a good purchase.

Before buying this product i was very skeptical about the quality. The same product if bought from any of the brand name stores, consumers would have to pay close to 100 bucks or even more. It did not make any sense to me. I was almost certain that the item would be bad and i always believed in the saying - 'What you get is what you pay for'. But not anymore, at least not in the case of this cable. It is just incredible. The picture quality is spell-bounding. It is totally worth the price. Please do not shell out tons of money out in the stores when u can get the same item at 1/10th of the price.

This is a good quality cable, plus it was inexpensive. The differences between this cable and $80+ cables are minimal (or unnoticeable to the majority of the population) at most. Don't throw it around, drop it a lot, stomp on it, etc. and it won't break. It's like a $30 women's purse from Kohls or a $500 purse from Macy's. You won't notice a major difference. It's all a status symbol. People thinking they have "the best" which usually isn't true, it's just more expensive with a big logo on it. My house came with a custom AV installation with the TV over the fireplace connected through the wall to a Charter Cable HD receiver in the adjacent cabinet. There was a 6' Monster DVI cable in place and every so often the picture/sound/everything would stop working for hours. Using another cable I isolated the problem down to the Monster cable. After reading many reviews on Amazon I learned that there is no difference between a $5 cable and a $100 cable. So I bit the bullet and bought this one.
No change in quality, for better or for worse. Worth every penny. It worked, I'm happy!

As someone who has worked in the electronics business, I never could understand why anyone would pay $60+ for any digital cable. You are only making a short connection and digital either works or it doesn't.
There isn't any degradation over such short distances.
So do yourself a favor and invest the three bucks + shipping and buy a new DVD player with the savings. In fact, I should be buying these and reselling them at 300% markup outside my local Circuit City.
Buy these cables and brag to your friends how smart you are, (and how gullible they are.)
