Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Cables Unlimited 6-Foot HDMI Male to Male Cable (PCM-2295-06)Customer Review: Wow!! Does what it's meant to do. No more, no less... Summary: 4 Stars
If you want a good HDMI solutiin, this only solves half the problem, as audio is not transmitted through this cable due to DVI being at the other end.
Well, what else can I say? Wow! It's a freekin cable. And it's cheap. A lot cheaper than the ripoff cables sold at Circuit City. It hooks your HDTV up to many devices with DVI outputs, including cable boxes, DVD players, even computers. It has a black outer cover, perfect for hiding the copper wires inside. For those worry about the look of wires in the living room, the black color will make it blend in with all the other wires behind your TV.
Customer Review: HDMI Cables for all Summary: 4 Stars
After initially hooking up my HD (1080I) Cablebox to a 47" HD (1080P) LCD TV with a Component Video and Composite audio cables I began looking for an HDMI connection that would simplify and enhance the HD signals provided by the HD CableBox. It took me about ten days to compare the HDMI cables at the local Electronics stores and many, many online sellers and after reading more that enough reviews I decided on the 6 foot HDMI cables from Cables Unlimited. Based upon a straight price / product comparision I could not find a better HDMI cable and have a very nice picture which only appears to be limited by my local Cable Companies Cable Box.
Customer Review: Quality at a great price Summary: 5 Stars
I could not bring myself to pay $100 or more for 2 additional HDMI cables which I needed for a new DVD player and another TV. I took a chance with these cable and I am glad I did. In comparison to a Monster Cable HDMI, which I already had, I saw absolutely no difference in quality with an HD feed. I have a reasonably discerning eye for video quality, and if there is any real difference between the two, someone would have to point it out to me, and if this is the case, I don't really care. I am sure there are cheap cables out there which make people believe they must pay big bucks for quaility, but not in this case. Great product.
Customer Review: Great Deal Summary: 4 Stars
I ordered this cable online, then I decided to shop around offline, because I was too excited to use my Toshiba HD A3 player. I was put off by the store prices, I couldn't find a cable for $20 let alone $13! All the cables I found were retailing for $70 to $100. This cable was a great deal, the PQ was amazing, and the cable is very durable. At first I was worried about the build quality but I couldn't tell the difference between this cable and the one selling for $70 at Radioshack. I'm glad I waited, because it was delivered to me the day after thanksgiving, so the wait was pretty short (around 3 to 4 days). Hope this helps.
Customer Review: No Point In Paying More Summary: 5 Stars
I don't have a basis for comparing this to other HDMI cables costing six or seven times as much, but I don't see how they could possibly improve on the performance of this product in terms of video and audio output. I'm using it to connect a new Pioneer DV-400V-K Multi-Format 1080p HDMI Upscaling DVD Player to my Toshiba REGZA 37HL67 37" 720p LCD HDTV. It works, it works well, and the price is certainly right. What more can I say?
