If you've seen an optical cable you've seen them all. Right? Well... yeah!
That's why the pricing on this cable makes absolute sense. With Amazon's free shipping it beats all the other offers that sell you a cable for change and then you get charged an arm and a leg for shipping. Spend $25 at Amazon and you get free shipping and then you pay for this optical cable about what it's worth.
Can't go wrong with this one because, if you get a defective one you will know immediately and, Amazon will replace it for free. If it works the first time you tried it, chances are it will last forever. I am still using one optical cable I bought more than 10 years ago.

How to review a cable? Well...the product works as described and provides a great sound through my speakers. By using this, I was able to eliminate the red/yellow/white cable from the back of my TV allowing me room to plug in other peripherals. I liked that the cable snapped into place ensuring a sure fit and I know that it is not going anywhere.
Like previous posters have written, remember to take off the plastic tips on the end, or it won't fit.
Though the item is not in a fancy package (comes in a plastic bag), it is a great product and works as well as a cable should work.
Great price and worth it if you need a digital audio cable.

I am an unabashed fan of "cables to Go" products. Over the past couple of years I have bought Toslink, HDMI, USB, component video, hubs, extensions, gender changers, patches, etc, etc, etc. Everyone of them performed just as the company said it would, for tons less money than most of the alternatives. If you want to spend a-lot more money for "Monstrously" overpriced cables, go ahead, but you don't have to!Customer Review: Good price for a good product.

I was not sure that a cable of this type would cost so less than the one at best buy, I mean, they are of the same size and type but the one at best buy is 35 dlls more expensive and they both claim they do the same thing.
Anyway, I was rather surprised and satisfied with the product. It is very easy to handle and store the excess lenght of the cable. It was easy to work with and set up could not be easier. Also, of course, the sound quality. I have a pioneer receiver and the first time I tried it, it worked great.
To this fate no complains with the product.
