I needed a second cable to feed my second LCD monitor using the Windows Dualview feature on my computer. My HP desktop computer has an Nvidia GeForce 8500GT video card capable of dual monitors. Nice feature as I didn't have to buy a second video card. I needed a second monitor for editing photos, creating slide shows and movies, and for viewing multiple charts using different software programs at the same time.
The cable works as advertised and very easy to install. Overall, I'm very happy with the cable plus I saved $15 to $50 dollars instead of buying it at a retail store. Good quality on the color and resolution. No noticeable differences between the two monitors on color, reaction time, or resolution.

I was considering buying a much more bulky and fancy cord than this one until I found this cord while searching through google. I decided to give it a shot since I wasn't out much money if it turned out to be a bad cord. I can't describe how happy I was that I made that decision because it has worked like a dream since I've gotten it. My computer monitor is NOT HDCP compliant and even still my PS3 is still running well and looking gorgeous via this cord. I don't know if this cord has anything to do with the HDCP crap but I do know that it's working well. I HIGHLY recommend this cord due to its price and ability to put out an outstanding image.Customer Review: For the price, it's good

For the price you pay the cable is good. However, DO NOT expect this cable to give you the same quality as a straight HDMI cable will. When I hook my xbox up to my computer monitor it looks good don't get me wrong, but it's nowhere near the quality of hooking my xbox up to my TV through HDMI. You will lose virtually all the lighting details that the great games have now a days, and the picture won't be quite as clear. It still looks better than hooking up your 360 to a CRT tv through the standard RCA jacks, but YOU WILL LOSE ALL DETAILS. All in all I'm still happy with my purchase, it does what I expected it to do for the price I paid.Customer Review: Made my large computer screen crisp and clear on a larger text setting.

I recently purchased a new computer that came as package including a 23 inch monitor. While my monitor had a HDMI port, my tower did not. So i hooked up the conection via a DVI cable. I happen to like large size print on my screen. I was sort of disappointed by the way the text and images looked.
I spoke with someone where i bought the computer and told them i was thinking about trying an DVI to HDMI cable. They said they didn't think it would make that big of a difference. Well i am glad i didn't listen to him because it DID make a noticeable difference and i am very pleased and would highly recommend this product to anyone!

I bought this cable to connect my Playstation 3 to an HDTV set that has only DVI (I think it's DVI-I) but no HDMI. This cable works beautifully. Image quality is really good. The price just can't be beat.
You should be aware that while HDMI carries both audio and video, DVI is video only, so you still need to route the audio to your TV somehow. For example, I use an optical digital audio cable to do that (together with an expensive converter box as my old HDTV set doesn't have an optical input).
